A Global Digital Ministry
To guide believers on a transformative journey that releases them from bondage — equipping them globally with biblically-grounded teaching and practical application, empowering them to become active doers of the Word.
"He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me."
Psalm 18:19 · KJV
Our Mission
"He that hath an ear, let him hear." We believe in teaching with application — helping believers move beyond just hearing the Word to actively living it out in their daily lives.
God's desire is that we learn of Him, be moved by Him, and allow His Spirit within us to be released — to move, to work, to lead.
— Rev. Sylvia Bills
The Voice Behind the Ministry
This ministry was not built from a platform. It was built from a process — the long, honest, Spirit-led work of being shaped by God.
Rev. Sylvia Bills is an Associate Minister at Historic Tanner Chapel A.M.E. Church in Phoenix, Arizona, and the founder of Release Me Ministry. Her teaching is rooted in Scripture, shaped by experience, and delivered with the pastoral warmth of someone who has truly been in the valley.
She writes, teaches, and preaches for the wanderer, the worshiper, and the weary — for the ones who have cried "Release Me" and meant it.
Meet Rev. BillsWhat People Are Saying
This ministry met me exactly where I was. Rev. Bills has a gift for teaching the Word in a way that doesn't just inform you — it transforms you. I walked in bound and walked out free.
I have sat under many teachers, but Rev. Bills speaks with an anointing that is rare. She doesn't just preach the Word — she lives it. Release Me Ministry is the real thing.
The Neighborhood Bible Study changed my relationship with Scripture. For the first time, I didn't just hear the Word — I understood how to live it. I am so grateful for this ministry.
Rev. Bills spoke at our women's conference and the room was never the same. She has a word for every woman who has ever felt like she was too broken to be used by God.
I picked up the Release Me book not knowing what to expect. By chapter three I was in tears — not from sadness, but from recognition. Someone finally said what I had been feeling for years.
